What are flow arts?

Flow arts are a unique art form based on combining object manipulation with other movement arts such as dance or martial arts. In other words, flow arts it's like dancing and moving with different, not only, juggling props. Another term often used to describe the flow arts or juggling is spinning. The most well-known props of flow arts include poi, staffs/sticks, fans, buugeng, hula hoops, dragonstaff, contact balls and many others.

Flow arts it's much more than an art form - it's a community and a way of life including a lot of travelling, performing and attending flow & juggling festivals around the world. This is the reason why most of the fire shows take place outside or at big productions on a venue with good airflow.

Light show or light dancing is a favourite alternative of indoor flow arts and juggling show. That doesn't mean you can't perform outside as well.
